Greetings to everyone.!

Nursing is a profession that increasingly is coming to the forefront of Health Care in India, as is already seen in developed countries of the world. The COVID 19 pandemic that started in 2020 has shown beyond doubt how high standards of nursing knowledge and care of patients in wards as well as critical care areas has improved clinical patient outcomes, survival as well as patient well-being. Nursing professionals also make measurable impact in other areas of healthcare such as education, research, community service and public health.

I congratulate all those who have chosen this noble profession as their careers and urge you to also make it a vocation. Those who make their work their passion and their joy contribute immensely to the cause of their profession and the good it does.

In the D Y Patil Education Society Deemed University, we are proud of the standards maintained at the D Y Patil College of Nursing. Experiential learning is an intrinsic part of undergraduate and postgraduate training, enabling us to offer to the society nurses who are well-trained and field-ready. We are always glad to see enthusiastic, committed entrants who are eager to learn and even gladder when they graduate as professional, disciplined nurses.

This website will provide a platform to communicate to the world at large, the activities, happenings and achievements of the staff and students of the college. I am sure this well be yet another reflection of the technological expertise, relevance and global standards maintained by the college.
